Jess and I have been planning this photo shoot for over a year now but our schedules were always conflicting. This was her first photo shoot ever and I am glad she got comfortable in front of the camera fairly quick.  The portrait shoot took place in Brooklyn.  For the locals here in NYC  (especially for the Brooklynites), the photos should be a dead giveaway of its exact location.   This location, after all, is my stomping grounds for portraits.

For this series, I post processed the photos differently.  It’s a lot more fun for me and I think it may be more fun for you viewers.

As always, I appreciate all comments.  MY favorite is #2, #6 and #9.  What’s yours?

Looks like you have a new 5D3, and also have a Sigma 85. I’ve got the Sigma 85 and a 5D3 on pre order, and I’m very interested how the Sigma 85 fares with the 5D3’s AF system. Are you able to use all of the 5D3’s double cross sensors with the Sigma 85?

Thanks in advance for any info.

    Hi Blaine,

My apologies – I meant to write “Canon 5D Mark II”. I have the 5D3 on pre-order, as well. I’m very excited to use it for weddings! :)
