About Me

I was born in Manila, Philippines where I spent the first eight years of my life, before moving to New York City.  A month after graduating from high school, I spent the next four years of my life enlisted with the US Navy and was ultimately stationed in Japan.  Afterwards, I studied finance in Binghamton University but my curiosity for photography, which was initially sparked during my travels within the Pacific rim, eventually led me to weddings.  First, I spent many hours taking portraits of friends in studio and on-location.  Later, I would move on to photographing friends of friends and even music celebrities such as Travie McCoy and Trey Songz.
A year later, an opportunity presented itself to take portraits to the next level by assisting an established wedding photographer.  After the first wedding, I realize this is what I’ve been looking for.  Surrounded by smiles, contagious laughter, tears of joy and learning about the little quirks that comes with every family and groups of friends, I realized this is what I want to do – to be in the business of love.  My goal is to allow you to relive your wedding memories through beautiful images.  For those of you who have made it this far, remind me to thank you for being patient enough.  All others can skip to the cliffs:

  • Joined the US Navy at the age of 17
  • Never jumped into the ocean during open swim calls because I couldn’t swim
  • Almost died climbing Mt. Fuji
  • Pretended I could dance in college but tore my ACL instead
  • With a torn ACL, I’ve become an avid cyclist and race for an amateur cycling team (Team Houlihan Lokey)
  • Secretly loved watching Power Rangers + Weird Al music video parodies
  • Thinks Travis Barker is an amazing drummer
  • Loves Wicked broadway show and highly recommend it to musical fans who haven’t seen it
  • Loves taking photos of happy people
