Corporate event case study
Kimberly-Clark 2024 Investor Day, New York
A morning investor event at the TimesCenter where Kimberly-Clark's leadership presented Powering Care, the company's new strategy, to analysts and investors.
On March 27, 2024, Kimberly-Clark, the maker of Huggies, Kleenex, Cottonelle, Scott and Depend, welcomed analysts and investors to the TimesCenter in New York for its 2024 Investor Day. Over one morning, the company's leadership introduced Powering Care, a new strategy for its next chapter of growth, Haystack Needle, which produced the live event, brought us in to photograph it, from the empty stage before doors opened to the final leadership portrait.
A gallery of the brands
Guests walked in past the TimesCenter's glass entrance to a lobby designed around the company's brands. Floor-to-ceiling screens showed Kimberly-Clark's products in everyday life, pedestals displayed Huggies, Kleenex, Cottonelle, Scott, Depend and Poise, and tall columns in the brand colors led the way to the stage. Before the program, investors and analysts met the company's executives over coffee.
Powering Care, on stage
The program opened with introductory remarks and moved through a series of keynotes from the company's leadership, each speaker presenting part of the strategy in front of a white stage wrapped in the Kimberly-Clark logo, with slides on a large screen above.
Questions from investors
The morning closed with the full leadership team seated on stage to answer questions from the room, followed by a group portrait of the team under the "Powering Care" screen.
How we photographed it
- Every speaker, cleanly: each executive photographed wide with their slides and close with the logo behind them, ready for press, the company website and internal communications.
- The brands, in detail: the product gallery and venue documented before guests arrived, so the event design is captured on its own.
- A discreet presence: candid moments between executives and investors, without interrupting conversations or blocking the audience's view of the stage.
- Organized delivery: 355 edited images from a single morning.
